We provide a WAV audio file of the note A440, which you can use to tune musical instruments at home.

Our mild climate is great for people and pianos. Consequently pianos stay in tune longer here.

Pianos less than 10 years old usually need tuning 1-2 times a year until the strings stop stretching so much and become accustomed to the overall tension in the piano.

If the pianist has a good ear it may be necessary to tune the piano more frequently.  After 10 years or so the strings stretch less and the piano needs tuning every 1-2 years to maintain the pitch level.
